What is the issue you’re encountering

hi guys, I have a problem with the resolution of a subdomain. I get the error 1000 here: I already have exactly the same setup running on 2 other subdomains, which works perfectly. do you have any idea why this error is occurring? Thank you very much! Best regards Bernd

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

nothing so far

What feature, service or problem is this related to?

DNS records

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Call the following URL: https://hub.fliptask.ai/

Please, check your DNS records by navigating to the DNS tab of Cloudflare dashboard for your zone, or via direct link https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/dns.

Furthermore, it might be when you added your domain to your Cloudflare account, the scan didn’t matched the DNS records “as-is”, or you’ve used some 3rd-party provider and DNS was already using some of Cloudflare services, or you’ve imported DNS records?

May I ask to double-check this and correct the IP address? Otherwise, try to temporarly swtich from :orange: to :grey: (DNS-only) to see if it would resolve. Might be your Website or sub-domain is using some 3rd-party service provider who’s already on a Cloudflare and using Cloudflare IPs as host.

Could be GoDaddy or someone else.

Hello and thank you for your prompt feedback.
The domain fliptask.ai is already running smoothly with 2 subdomains. Now the “hub” will be added as a 3rd subdomain.
This means that the settings for this subdomain are exactly the same as for the other two.
The service is Glideapps, which explicitly recommends cloudflare to create a custom domain.
Does this help with troubleshooting?

If I set DNS-only, it works.
What should I do now? Can the setting remain as it is?

Seems like it’s working now and if it’s unproxied :grey: (DNS-only), then yes you should be using it like that since your service/application already is on Cloudflare.

The sub-domains app, hub and smm seems to be working now as well?

Yes, it works.
Shouldn’t they all be switched to DNS-only?

I am afraid yes, if you get this error on all of them.

Thanks so far - i think that fixed this issue.
