Always Online to catch HTTP 503

Hi Community

I read that Always Online does not take over with HTTP 503 Error of the source Server. Can this be configured or changed in any way?
I have a WAF in front of my real Webserver (for routing different URLs to different Servers) which will respond with 503 when de Source Server is in Error.

Regards,
Michael

What you read is correct. It only applies to 520-527 errors. No options, features, or plans will let you override that.

The only way I can see of working around that is with a Worker that specifically looks for a 503, and then redirects to somewhere else, such as your site’s most recent Internet Archive page:
https://web.archive.org/web/https://example.com/

Thank you for the confirmation and the Idea for a workaround :+1:
