We need to allow an outside service – Zapier – to connect to our site but it’s getting blocked. I searched the forums and saw where this has come up a few times before but it doesn’t look like there’s a resolution.
We can’t just whitelist an IP address since Zapier uses Amazon Web Services and there’s a huge number of IPs – way too many to list plus it could change.
I tried adding a firewall rule to allow requests where User Agent contains Zapier but it’s still blocked.
I did see some text down at the bottom of the firewall rule editor that says it doesn’t prevent other security products like Bot Fight Mode from evaluating the request. We do have Bot Fight Mode on as per SiteGround.
