Aggressively blocking Oracle IPs

We break out via Oracle Cloud & it seems like this public IP prefix is blocklisted in some way by Cloudflare.

A lot of websites using Cloudflare are simply blocking our requests with a generic error that has a Ray ID etc.

I assume all of these websites aren’t specifically blocking my IP or country, and Cloudflare has just categorised my IP as ‘bad’.

So could I request for my static IP on this block to be removed from the block list?

Cloudflare doesnt block anyone, it just provides the tools for customers to use, we the customers then decide who to block - the webpage you see when blocked states clearly that you need to contact each and every website that blocks you, not Cloudflare

I would expect Oracle Cloud to be blocked by most webmasters - we use Cloudflare tools to block the ASN as a whole across all of our websites

I find it hard to believe that all of these sites have gone and specifically blocked the entire Oracle ASN. That is very poor practice.

Many website operators block cloud providers because they are a large source of malicious scrapers and bots.

You’d need for an operator to confirm for you the reason your IP has been blocked. @paul32 generally has the right of it, but no one can confirm the specific reason for your block other than a specific website operator.
