What is the issue you’re encountering

We have an cloud based Imperva WAF and when setting it up to secure our website which is hosted on the Umbraco cloud (which I believe uses Cloudflare), we start getting an error 1000

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

We have tried disabling proxy on the DNS records for this website, but we still end up getting Error 1000 DNS points to prohibited IP. You’ve requested a page on a website (dmns.org) that is on the Cloudflare network. Unfortunately, it is resolving to an IP address that is creating a conflict within Cloudflare’s system.

Was the site working with SSL prior to adding it to Cloudflare?

Yes

What is the current SSL/TLS setting?

Full

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

I can re-enable the Imperva WAF and change our DNS records to point to it and then the error will reoccur.

Please have a read on this one here : error 1000

This error is most commonly caused by one or more DNS records in the Cloudflare dashboard pointing to a Cloudflare IP address. It can also be caused if your DNS record(s) reference another reverse proxy. To resolve this, you should edit your DNS records to point to your origin server’s IP address.
