Hello, some time ago, I configured one of my domains to point to Medium.com using a custom domain setup. The first domain works perfectly, but when I try to configure another domain to point to my publication, I encounter Error 1000 - “1 DNS points to prohibited IP.” I’m not sure if this issue is with Cloudflare or Medium. Any ideas?
May I ask if it’s pointing to the correct IP address, otherwise you’re using some temporary IP address like 192.168.x.x?
If so, try switching to the 192.0.2.1
if the DNS record is proxied and .
Nevertheless, what kind of type of an DNS record are you using and how did you pointed your domain to the Medium?
Was it via their integration or?
I’d suggest you to try and use unproxied and test out.
