Please help me to assaing the Quic.Cloud CNAME in the Cloudflare
After adding the QUIC.CLOUD CNAME in the CLOUDFLARE DNS,I didn't find it in the record...Please tell me why is it happening? I have tried many a time but I don't know why is it happening!
Just in case, I’d suggest you to use “Pause Cloudflare for this site” option, wait for few minutes, re-try, upon success, un-pause.
- Use the “Pause Cloudflare on Site” option from the Overview tab for your domain at dash.cloudflare.com .
- The link is in the lower right corner of that page.
- Give it five minutes to take effect, then make sure site is working as expected with HTTPS.
- Re-try with updating.
- Upon success, un-pause and continue using Cloudflare.
That means, this method is just like, I am DISABLING Cloudflare.
Yes, that is what pausing Cloudflare does. It is not meant as a solution. It is to help you diagnose your problem.
If your CNAME is set to Cloudflare publishes A and AAAA records for that hostname to direct traffic to the Cloudflare proxy where it will then be sent on the canonical name. This will cause third-party CNAME verification to fail, since there is no published CNAME available to verify. Set your CNAME to DNS Only and Cloudflare will publish it as A CNAME.
