Please help me to assaing the Quic.Cloud CNAME in the Cloudflare
Just in case, I’d suggest you to use “Pause Cloudflare for this site” option, wait for few minutes, re-try, upon success, un-pause.
- Use the “Pause Cloudflare on Site” option from the Overview tab for your domain at dash.cloudflare.com .
- The link is in the lower right corner of that page.
- Give it five minutes to take effect, then make sure site is working as expected with HTTPS.
- Re-try with updating.
- Upon success, un-pause and continue using Cloudflare.
That means, this method is just like, I am DISABLING Cloudflare.
Yes, that is what pausing Cloudflare does. It is not meant as a solution. It is to help you diagnose your problem.
If your CNAME is set to Cloudflare publishes A and AAAA records for that hostname to direct traffic to the Cloudflare proxy where it will then be sent on the canonical name. This will cause third-party CNAME verification to fail, since there is no published CNAME available to verify. Set your CNAME to
DNS Only and Cloudflare will publish it as A CNAME.
