Adpr.co domain name not resolving, cloudflare wants me to change nameservers

What is the name of the domain?

adpr.co

What is the error number?

No error number

What is the error message?

The registrar services for this domain have been suspended by cloudflare for terms of service violation

What is the issue you’re encountering

domain is not resolving, no RDAP response. Can’t get any email that is sent through the domain.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

cloudflare wants me to change name servers from alexis.ns.cloudflare and donna.ns.cloudflare to aspen.ns.cloudflare and brady.ns.cloudflare.
When I login to my account there is no way to change the name servers.
I did see a larger number of MX records I did not create, wondering if my account was compromised and cloudflare shut down the domain. How do I resolve? I have submitted multiple tickets and I am on the business level service but zero responses from Cloudflare.

That the domain is using Cloudflare Registrar and is active means that if you are being asked to change the nameservers you are not in the account where the domain is registered and active…

You need to log in to the account where the domain is registered and manage it from there. Log out of the dashboard and use “Forgot your email” if you need help finding that account. You may have registered the domain using an iCloud or Google login if you can’t remember.

Thanks SJR. Where do I go to change the nameservers. I can’t seem to find that in the help guide. It explains how to move from another provider but not from cloudflare to cloudflare

You can’t. As above, that the domain is active likely means you are not logged into the Cloudflare account where the domain is registered and managed, it is in another account and that is the one with the current nameservers.

You can check to see if the domain registration is in your dashboard here. If it is not, you are in the wrong account…

Is this the right account?

You need to look here…

OK I found a second account setup for the domain

So we have two cloudflare accounts both partially setup

Is that the one with the domain registration?

There’s now 3 sets of nameservers so it looks like you have added the domain to yet another account, or you are deleting and re-adding the domain to an account…

Try to find the email from Cloudflare when you registered your domain. That will have gone to the email address of the account where it is registered.

OK If i can figure that out should I remove the domain from the others?

You can remove them, or they will automatically delete after 28 days of not becoming active.

If i remove all but the original will the site start working again?

The site is active on Cloudflare but doesn’t seem to have any DNS records for the domain or www. You need to log in to the account where the domain is active in order to set those.

I have it down to two accounts. Both accounts have the domain listed with reference to invalid named servers. The adpr.co entry on one of the accounts has a gold star next to it, the other does not. Do you know what the gold star represents?

It will be the one listed where @sjr indicated you need to check.

If it’s not listed there, you’re not in the right account.

I went into all three accounts and clicked the link you provided and this came back.

Then you are still not in the right account.

Check your emails again to see which account you used to register the domain.

Don’t forget this part:

You can also try to log out and use the “I forgot my email address” function.

Click “Manage Domains” and see if the domain is there.

ok thanks will keep trying.

OK i found the right account. What do I need to do next?
