Address is out of Available Range

OK, seems odd - but this is the error message I’m getting when performing a dynamic A record update. Suggestions?


What IP address (or the first 2 number places of the IP) are you trying to add?


Doesn’t seem to be anything special about that range, does it error if you enter it via the CF dashboard?

How many times have you tried that?

I’d assume it might have been a temporary glitch

Nope, still trying, still failing. Very odd … :-(. Same client I tried on another machine (just for a different record), and it works.

CF dashboard - nope, it takes the address just fine.

At this point, you should open up a Support ticket: login to Cloudflare and then contact Cloudflare Support.

Let them know the specific record you’re trying to input.
