Additional Domain Names Not Propogating

Our main domain is already running with Cloudflare. We purchased 2 more domains that we need pointed to the main domain (one is for specific use cases, the other is a shortened url for links). I applied the same DNS information as the main domain in the Cloudflare domain settings and matched it with the main domain at the registrar (they are all registered at the same place). It has been over 24 hours and I am still getting an error message when I bring up the domains? Not sure what I am doing wrong?

What is that message?

What are those 2 domains? Did you also add those to Cloudflare?

What is that domain?

All added to Cloudflare:

main domain:booostr.co

new domain 1:bstr.us

new domain 2: booostr.ai

Error Message when I try to pull up either of the two new domains:

This site can’t be reachedThe connection was reset.
Try:

Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
Running Windows Network Diagnostics
ERR_CONNECTION_RESET

I am sure there is something dumb I am missing here.

That domain is not using Cloudflare

If I am following you correctly, I’d add the other two domains to Cloudflare and set up a #general:rules to forward from those domains to the main domain.

And, I’d remove the DNS A records called booostr.ai & bstr.us from the booostr.co DNS records.

Thank you! Just for clarification,

  1. remove the DNSA record information from domains on Cloudflare
  2. set up #general:rules for both of those new domains to forward to the main domain

I appreciate the help and quick replies!

I went ahead and applied a page rule so that bstr.us automatically forwards to https://booostr.co

I then removed the Bstr.us DNS A record.

I still have bstr.us registrar DNS A record pointing to Cloudflare.

Does this take time to propogate? I am still getting the same page error.

To use Cloudflare rules, the hostname needs to use Cloudflare DNS and be :orange: Proxied in Cloudflare. You currently have bstr.us resolving to an IP at InMotion Hosting and you are not using Cloudflare DNS with that domain.
