I know cloudflare and ENS have integration but I could not make it work. advice?
That does not mean that you can use some pseudo-TLDs. Only domains of publicly recognised TLDs can be added to Cloudflare.
publicsuffix.org has the full list.
You cannot add a domain that is outside the ICANN DNS root to Cloudflare.
Is there a way around it or do I need to buy a TLD and link the DNS with ENS?
As I said.
If you want to add a domain to Cloudflare it needs to be part of a proper TLD.
.link to your
.eth domain, and it will be accessible via the normal DNS.
