Adding MX Records

We are a school system that uses GMail for our domain. We have a sub-domain called k6.anwsd.org and we are finding that we are not able to send emails to that domain. the error we are receiving is this:

Address not found
Your message wasn’t delivered to " " because the domain (http://k6.anwsd.org/) couldn’t be found. Check for typos or unnecessary spaces and try again.

Today I added an MX record for the domain but still can’t send to that address. Any thoughts are welcomed.

anwsd.org is on Cloudflare, but there is seemingly no record for k6.

Is your intention to receive emails under “@k6.anwsd.org”?

Yes, some of our student accounts will be [email protected].

In that case you will need to create an MX record for “k6” and point it to the respective SMTP server.
