Hi,
I just opened an account with Cloudflare and added my Domain Name to it. I signed up for the Pro account. It has been sitting in a pending mode for 2 weeks. I changed the Nameservers with the Registrar but it still showed pending. So I took another look and realized I entered the wrong Domain Name when I opened up an account with Cloudflare. I have found out Cloudflare can’t change the Domain Name and I would have to open up a second account with the correct Domain Name. When I went to do this, Cloudflare was set to charge me again for a Basic account. Is there a way to close my current account and move the money I already paid and use it toward the second account I need to open in order to have the correct domain name.

I think you should just add the domain to the same account that you already have the pro subscription in.
If you create a support ticket once the zone is active, support should be able to transfer the pro subscription to your correct zone, or refund your current subscription.
I did what you suggested and they did allow me to add the correct domain name, but I had to pay for a second Pro subscription. Also they don’t give refunds, so I changed the subscription for the wrong Domain Name to the Free account so next year when my account renews, all that will renew is the correct domain name. Expensive lesson to learn.
Thank you again for helping me out. I really do appreciate it.
Thank you so much for your suggestion to change from Pro to Free. I have done that. As for a credit, in accordance with their policy, they don’t give credits. I am going to appeal to them and ask them if they would consider it since I don’t own the Domain Name. I figure it can’t hurt to ask.
Thank you again for your assistance, I very much appreciate it.
