Description
Add nowprocket
url parameter to Cloudflare APO default bypass list
Benefit
We use the nowprocket
URL parameter in our WordPress performance plugin, WP Rocket (fueling 4.5M websites), to help users bypass the cache for testing purposes.
When this parameter is used, users expect the cache to be bypassed so they can debug or verify changes. However, with APO in front of WordPress, the bypass itself gets cached, leading users to mistakenly believe there’s an issue with our caching system or that their updates weren’t saved.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could add nowprocket
as a default cache bypass URL string for Cloudflare APO. Alternatively, providing a filter in the official Cloudflare plugin to create “Cache Rules” for bypassing the cache when needed—such as in our case—would also be a helpful solution as well to scope the bypass to when a website is using our plugin.
