Add custom domain with special characters to Cloudflare pages?

I am trying to add a custom domain containing special characters to a page in Cloudflare.
I already have the domain as a website in Cloudflare.

When using the domain name with special characters I get an error (1) “Please enter valid domian”.
When tying to add the domain name with punycode I get another error (2) “An unknown error occured. Contact your account team or Cloudflare support: … (Code: 8000000)”.

I have tried to add the DNS records as a CNAME my self, but the [pagename].pages.dev, does not accept it when it is not added as custom domain.

How can I fix this?

@erisa-cf It is dustrain.pages.dev where I want to add xn–stvregn-r1a.dk.
Currently I have just set up a page rule to get it sort of working.
