Add an A, AAAA, or CNAME record

I have an enterprise Cloudflare account and after adding a custom domain to it seeing this on the top pane. What exactly I suppose to do? The domain was initially hosted by another provider and during onboarding made the nameservers entry.

Add an A, AAAA, or CNAME record for your root domain so that bar.com will resolve.

Also, I don’t have any need to point to www, just subdomains like foo.bar.com by using CNAME and current entries are not working.

You can ignore that if you don’t want the root domain to resolve. Or if you want to redirect web visitors, you can do this:
