Is your origin configured correctly to serve the website content for your domain? I see the same for www and non-www

Yay a reply !

My main goal was to run Nextcloud/collabora (which i got to work) then i wanted to do more and well, i suddenly needed reverse proxies etc. so maybe a little more info is needed.

My first thing maybe it explains things? This message keeps popping up. 1 moment it says ‘full setup’ or something along those lines.

Recommended steps to complete zone set-up Hide

Add an A, AAAA, or CNAME record for www so that www.mwbreur.eu will resolve.
Add an A, AAAA, or CNAME record for your root domain so that mwbreur.eu will resolve.
Add an MX record for your root domain so that mail can reach @mwbreur.eu addresses or set up restrictive SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records to prevent email spoofing.

My setup : 2/2gbit internet connection just listing what’s needed for my purposes.

Ubiquiti Edgerouter->Juniper EX4200 48T - 80/443 ->192.168.1.5 Truenas Scale/docker/Nginx Reverse Proxy which is configured correctly i guess it does the letsencrypt stuff also.
My nextcloud/collabora/wireguard/adguard/unifi controller/homeassistant instances run on 192.168.1.2 (which used to be the exposed host). Supposedly i have set nginx to each of the ‘sub domains’ so:

  • Nextcloud - nc.mwbreur.eu with collabora docker container
  • unifi controller - unifi.mwbreur.eu
  • switch/router etc.
  • Minecraft management website. minecraft.mwbreur.eu
    (all require 2fa - already pen-tested it)
I’m using these devices to get the hang of passing through other things.

I also have WS2025 - DC/AD/IIS/DHCP/DNS/R&R access running on a separate network.

My main issue at the moment is that trying to get to nc.mwbreur.eu i get an error ‘to many redirects’. when using wireguard it works fine (since it runs on the same server).

When i change the port forwards again, 80/443 to 192.168.1.2 it works straight away.

I am kinda new to this, i have a domain @ pcextreme which was taken over by versio. Their dashboard is @#%@#$ half the things i needed to get it to Cloudflare weren’t available and had to have someone from support do it. (great guy!)

Seems it’s not possible to edit posts,

Ok i found out a mistake on my end that when specific ports are needed (SRV record didn’t do anything) proxied has to be disabled f.e. minecraft.

However NPM (Nginx proxy manager) doesn’t seem to forward anything at all?

I set all sub domains in NPM f.e. truenas.mwbreur.eu, ruckus.mwbreur.eu etc.
All run on port80 However everything ends up at 192.168.1.2 (nc.mwbreur.eu) which gives an error ‘TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS’ yes cleared cookies.

I can’t figure out how to get all the other subdomains to work.

Yes www.mwbreur.eu now goes to nc.mwbreur.eu, but it seems everything does except mwbreur.eu that one still shows NPM (sort of sanity check) .

Going to start allover. Looks like my earlier attempts ruined most of my network/proxy stuff.
NPM is acting weird.

Going to reinstall the whole lot.
