Add a domain to our account that is currently in Cloudflare but with another supplier

I’m looking to add a new domain to our account which will be a business domain. The domain is currently using Cloudflare with a different supplier. How can I migrate/add it to our account?

You’ll want to add it to your account and have the owner of the domain change the name servers at the domain registrar to the two assigned to you in your account. (Note that, you will also need to go through a process with the registrar if the current owner is transferring ownership to you as opposed to just giving you control over the domain using Cloudflare.)

Thank you for the response.

When I try to add the domain via the “Add a site” link I get the following message:

“The zone name provided is subject to a hold which disallows the creation of this zone. Please contact the domain owner to have this hold removed.”

I followed another ticket which suggests DNSSEC may be enabled, but have checked the domain and it does not show any implemented.

what is the domain name @andrew101 and do you own that domain?

If not, I suspect it’s related to

If the Zone Hold feature is the issue, please share the blog with the zone owner and they can release the hold.
