Hi @tami1,
Could you please elaborate more on where you are trying to configure these comma seperated CNAME records?

You can only have a single value for a CNAME target.
so what can I do in case I need another target value?
is there any way around it?
The CNAME record can only have one domain as mentioned by cscharff. You can create multiple records pointing to one domain though if that is your intention. IE:
CNAME a.example.com > example.com
CNAME b.example.com > example.com
A example.com 127.0.0.1
A example.com 127.0.1.1

why can’t I just add commas and 2 targets?
as I need 2 targets for 1 subdomain
is there any way around it?
What is your expected outcome? That Cloudflare will randomly select the location it sends visitors to on each request? That the requests are load balanced across the two with failover?
This is just not how CNAMEs work, if you explain what you are trying to achieve we may be able to help better.
