How do I activate my dedicated SSL certificate?
at the moment the universal certificate is placed number1 and dedicated number 2

Dedicated should still take priority. Have you checked the certificate in your browser to see if it’s changed?

using https renders my website with error 404 but using http works fine
do i disable universal https for dedicated to work
Which SSL mode are you using in the TLS/SSL tab? Is it Flexible, or one of the Full settings?
