The Advanced Certificate Manager blog article says “customers will now be able to issue up to 100 edge certificates per zone, which includes the zone apex and up to 50 hostnames.” – but then the docs clarify that 100 is only for Enterprise.
Enterprise is too expensive just to handle more SSL certs in this case. Is non-Enterprise able to purchase additional ACM edge certificates for more than 50 hostnames?
The use-case is the client has many 4th level domains (2nd level subdomains, aaa.bbb.ccc.com) with more to be added, and also wants to cover www for the 3rd level domains (1st level subdomains, www.bbb.ccc.com). There’s many different 1st level subdomains so separately purchasing & importing a wildcard cert for that level wouldn’t be a good solution.
Ticket support was very unhelpful for several days wait and chat only said to use Enterprise or import SSL certs, so checking here for any other ideas.
