Unable to verify my email address and need to change the email associated with my account.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Originally, tried creating support cases, however no responses. Tried calling the support line, no response.
Took desperate measures and re-created the email account to receive external communications, but now the registration link is sending hours after I initiate the request. (and ironically while I am asleep, middle of the night) Then when I click the link, it states that the link has expired.

I am unable to change the email address or add new users to the account with the appropriate email address until I can verify the original. It seems as though I am caught in a never ending loop and would greatly appreciate someone from account support to simply update my account.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

Oh, and perhaps I should clarify the support cases. I submitted them, offered an alternative email address, one for communication and one for the account switch over. Case #s: 01262168 and 01263824. However, I am also unable to access the support center to view active cases and have yet to receive any responses via email.

May I also ask if you’re successfully receiving other emails from Cloudflare to those particular e-mail addresses?

May I ask if the email address onto which you’re not receiving verification emails is the same for your Community account and Cloudflare account, or you’re using a different one? :thinking: I advise not to share it here in a reply, just to confirm. Thank you.

In the meantine, just to be sure please make sure you allow all emails from [email protected] and [email protected] to prevent any issue.

Answers in the order of the comments:

  1. Free plan, but have been desperate. I understand that call support is not available for this type. Yet basic account issues should have support available. It should not take me over a week to change an email address that does not work anymore.
  2. I received the account verification email hours after the request for a new link. I sent another request today and it is still not coming in.
  3. The above means I should be receiving emails from Cloudflare addresses however they are very delayed
  4. I re-created the old email address to accept external email due to the lack of support I was receiving BUT this is not the desired email address. Please refer to support cases.

Hi @absolute I see the bounced emails to the account you are using here. I corrected for that, let us know if the emails arrive

Now that I verified the original account email address, I am working on switching to the appropriate email address I would like to use and running into the same email issue where the verification is not coming in. Please assist me with this switchover.

I still have yet to receive the verification email to the address I am trying to set the account up with. Seems like the same issue as before. Please assist.

May I ask if the 2nd email address, the one which you’re gonna be using for Cloudflare account is under the same @domain.com or a different one? :thinking:
