About the Cloudflare Community MVP & Champs Programs

About Community MVPs & Champs

Community MVP & Developer Champs are students, teachers, developers, engineers, Cloudflare customers and technology leaders who have demonstrated contributions to the Cloudflare ecosystem. These individuals are recognized for their technical knowledge, dedication to helping others, and participation in the Cloudflare community. They are leaders that share their expertise, create content, offer support, and advocate for Cloudflare solutions. Developer Champs contribute primarily on our Discord server, and Community MVPs are more active in the community forums.

Note: While some MVPs and Champions also serve as moderators, moderation is a separate role. Being part of these programs does not grant moderation permissions on our Discord server or the community forums.

Expectations to Qualify for the Community’s Elite Programs

The Community MVP & Champs programs support you to become an advocate for Cloudflare. MVPs & Champs are recognized technology leaders and it’s a great way to enhance your professional profile. Here are a few key activities you’ll engage in:

  • Share your advice & insight in the community: You already actively participate in the Cloudflare Community or in the developers discord by sharing your expertise. When you help fellow developers and people that use Cloudflare by answering questions, troubleshooting issues, providing expert tips, and offering solutions to real-world use cases, you set yourself apart from the typical Cloudflare Community member.
  • Share knowledge or expert tips: Write blogs, create tutorials, host a webinar, or contribute to GitHub to educate developers and people that use Cloudflare.
  • Host tech-events or meetups: Represent Cloudflare at technical events, meetups, developer conferences, etc. Community leaders typically host at least one meetup per quarter on the topic of their choice.
  • Provide us feedback: Provide feedback to our product, engineering, and advocacy teams to help us improve our offerings.
  • Set yourself apart and answer topics without replies.

Note: The activities listed above are just examples of ways to contribute. These serve as general guidelines for engagement.
