AAAA record shows in dnschecker but nothing shows in the domain DNS record

What is the issue you’re encountering

I’m connecting web design (Brandcrowd) to the domain, upon DNS set up by adding A record, Brandcrowd shows validation fail due to conflict with AAAA record with my domain,but I do not see any AAAA record in my DNS setting.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

  1. Purge Cloudflare’s Cache
  2. Flush Local DNS Cache in my Mac
  3. Changed SSL/TLS Settings from default to FULL / FULL (Strict)
  4. Reconnect my domain with Brandcrowd
  5. It shows" Invalid DNS records exist. Please remove the ‘AAAA’ DNS record."
  6. Validated via dnscheckers.org, shows “AAAA” record is available

Cloudflare returns Cloudflare A and AAAA records when you DNS record is proxied as that’s how Cloudflare works…

If the records need to be validated by the host, set them to “DNS only” but then no Cloudflare features will be applied to requests to your site.

thanks @sjr , can you specify the steps for me to execute please? like, which record I should change the DNS only? or all?

Do it for whichever records the host is checking.
