A Record IP address shows it is pointing to the correct IP address, however it is unable to connect with shopify as it says it is still pointing to the cloudfare IP address. Except that the IP address it says the A record is pointing to is not even listed in the DNS A Record series
Shopify partners with CF, so if there’s a CNAME option, you should try using that instead of pointing to an A record. If not, could you reply back with the instructions you get from Shopify?
I had to delete all of the AAAA records because shopify "refuses to recognise the existence of IPv6 " and finally that worked! took 3 days to figure that out
