What is the name of the domain?

worldwideweb.dumpster.top, and port 2053 if necessary

What is the issue you’re encountering

Anycast IPs assigned to my domain is blocked in Mainland China, the region where main customers of my website are. Now it’s impossible to get in touch with them.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

None of these addresses is accessible from Mainland China. Results from various online PING tools prove this.

The only way I know to solve this is to manually assign the domain to a good IP in the hosts file. Unfortunately I’m currently out of touch with visitors, and it’s impossible to ask all of them to make the change.

Please help me. I think I am suffering from customer loss without even knowing why. Thanks.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

I’ve got two domains hosted on Cloudflare. One is okay, which is resolved to an accessible IP. The other, however, is not. Even after I tried to delete/pause the domain and activate it again, it’s constantly assigned to the old one.

I wonder how to reproduce it, since I don’t know what I did triggered the error.

Had a quick search on Chinese internet and found out the “quality selection” or “优选” might be a solution. But I think this is against Cloudflare’s ToS. I wouldn’t take the risk.

Is anyone here to help? Really upset now. Thanks.

I also encountered the same problem

I have the same problem with my website.
The response IP is 104.21.96.1 104.21.16.1 104.21.32.1 104.21.80.1 104.21.112.1 104.21.64.1 104.21.48.1

I am sorry to hear this happen to alll of you.

Thank you for feedback.

Cloudflare is aware of the issue and is looking forward into the ways addressing the China firewall block, which apparently still occurs.

According to a recent ping test, it seems that these IPs get unblocked in most provinces of China. However, it’s still blocked in Jiangsu, Shanghai and others.
