The certificate listed in the screenshot was issued today, making it likely there wasn’t a valid server on the cert prior to that for whatever reason. When accessing the site now I don’t see a 526 error.

Does it still persist for you?

The certificate was issued 19/Feb/2024. I can’t keep a broken site, so it works because the Cloudflare proxy is off. But the issue is still present if I turn on the Cloudflare proxy, I will get the error

Hello!

Just wanted to check in here and see if you were able to resolve the issue you were having. At the moment I can see that Cloudflare proxy is turned on, and I’m not getting a 526 error as you initially reported.

Hi @micky,

The problem is not resolved. When you check it works in the mode
Cloudflare proxy = on; SSL/TLS encryption mode = Full

The issue I have in the mode
Cloudflare proxy = on; SSL/TLS encryption mode = Full (strict)

I turned off the Cloudflare proxy to give you the ability to check my real certificate which I use.

Thanks.
