523 error - reachable via curl but not via hostname

Im getting a 523 error attempting to reach my domain. Ive confirmed that the site is reachable via ping and can ssh directly into it via the ip address. Host provider doesnt have cloudflare blocklisted, ports are open correctly on the host, apache2 service us up and running and i can curl the ip and get the index page, just cannot reach it via dns name. I have even tried reaching it via https://ip but still nothing

Everything was working correctly a few days ago as well and nothing has changed on the end of cloudflare’s dns settings. Im at a loss of what to do.

This request wouldn’t go via Cloudflare so looks like an issue at the host.

You can set the DNS record to “DNS only” or “pause Cloudflare” to see if you can then access by domain name, and debug any errors hidden behind the proxy. If that’s where the issue is, then you can re-enable Cloudflare one it is fixed.

Otherwise, what is the domain?
