522 error with Porkbun registered domain using Cloudflare Pages with Github

What is the issue you’re encountering

I have a domain registered with Porkbun and hosted on Cloudflare with Cloudflare pages and Github integration. I have edited the namerservers on Porkbun to point to Cloudflare and removed the necessary DNS records. On Cloudflare, I have added CNAME for both the root and subdomains and pointed them towards ‘project_name’.pags.dev.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I spoken with Porkbun customer service and they don’t see any issues on their end that would cause this. Further, they reviewed my DNS records on Cloudflare and didn’t see any issues.

That isn’t enough, you need to add each hostname under your Pages Project → Custom Domains tab. It’ll create the CNAME for you as well, if it doesn’t exist. You’ll get a 522 error for any hostname not in that list. You’ll want to add your root (eatpiatto.com) and any subdomains you want to work, as Pages Custom Domains.
