I have been getting pages with SOME images missing (small handful out of hundreds). The src of all image files is of the form “/images/filename.jpg”. Directly inputting this in the browser for missing images, using http://www.mydomain/com/image/filename.jpg, redirected to https which gave a 522 error (only SOME images). Retyping this WITHOUT the www pulled up the image just fine. I was renaming the image files and changing the html to reflect the new name, which worked (with the www) but is tedious and I don’t know if any images will ‘fail’ later. I have just now set up (successfully) a page rule to redirect https with www to omit the www. However, I don’t know if this is the correct approach and whether there are any negative repercussions to this page rule, nor do I know why some images (very few) were missing from pages and producing a 522 error when input directly with the www.
Can you post a few example URLs with a description what is not working and what you’d expect?
This gives me a 522 error
This does not
The SSL on Cloudflare under Crypto has both eapfoundation.com and *.eapfoundation.com. I’ve switched off the page rule to avoid the redirect.
Sorry, I thought the link would show rather than an image embed. The first image embedded after a few minutes.
https://www.eapfoundation DOT com/images/yes2.jpg
This gives 522
https://eapfoundation DOT com/images/yes2.jpg
This does not.
As you can notice with the first embedded picture, the www
version actually works too.
I can also open it and it works at http://sitemeer.com/#https://www.eapfoundation.com/images/yes2.jpg as well.
It is not working for me. However, I am based in China and it might be connected to that. The image still doesn’t come up (including on the page it is embedded on), though it does show if I use a VPN. As many users of my site are based in China it might affect them also.
Can you post the output of
https://eapfoundation.com/cdn-cgi/trace
and

They both take the same route. Could you post a screenshot of the 522? But I’d probably open a support ticket and let them know the connection ID. Based on that they might be able to tell whats going on.
And the very same link without www
works for you? If so, open a support ticket and quote the connection ID 46c17615a91d996d and they will hopefully be able to tell more.
