522 error on AWS s3 hosted website

I have a domain nmsl.party hosted on cloudflare. The record is CNAME nmsl.party -> nmsl.party.s3-website-us-west-1.amazonaws.com with Cloudflare HTTP PROXY enabled.

However, http://nmsl.party.s3-website-us-west-1.amazonaws.com works, but https://nmsl.party shows error 522.

Your server is not configured for HTTPS

http://sitemeer.com/#https://nmsl.party.s3-website-us-west-1.amazonaws.com/

You need to correct that setup first.

Also, right now it only sends a redirect to another domain, is that intended?

cloudflare can host a https frontend for a http backend, isn’t it?

The domain cnm.cool is also a AWS S3 hosted website without https configured.

No, it isnt. You still need a certificate on your server, otherwise the connection cannot be secure.

I have AWS CloudFront setup just now but it sucks. I switch to Google Cloud Platform Storage + Cloudflare and it works pretty well!!

Just get that certificate up and running and you should be fine
