Site is active at monitorco.pages.dev but trying to use the domain I bought on Squarespace isn’t working. I followed the Cloudflare instructions to set up DNS on my Squarespace account and on Cloudflare pages, still getting a 522 error. Squarespace has no DNS records as I’m using custom nameservers - both Cloudflare provided nameservers have been added under “domain nameservers” on Squarespace. On Cloudflare I have two DNS CNAME records, one for “monitorco.online” with target “monitorco.pages.dev” and one for “www” with target “monitorco.pages.dev”. Both show as proxied.
What feature, service or problem is this related to?
So I did that already for monitorco.online, when I try to do the same for www.monitorco.online I get the following error:
Please ensure you are providing the root domain and not any subdomains (e.g., example.com, not subdomain.example.com)
It’s kind of hard to tell if I’m following the steps correctly though because that page is out of date. As far as I can tell though everything for monitorco.online has already been set up according to the documentation, not sure why it’s not allowing me to add a domain for www.monitorco.online
That sounds like the add site flow not the add custom domain flow (yes it’s confusing)
You don’t want to add a new Cloudflare zone, specifically you want to add to the Pages project. That page is correct, it’s just a different flow than the one you went down
