I get a 522 Connection timed out error message when trying to access my website

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I have added my domain to Cloudflare and added the CNAME records for the root domain (charlesgoelen dot com - pardon me if terminology is wrong) and www subdomain
I have the cloudflare domain nameservers to my domain registrar (squarespace)
I have added the DNSSEC info to my domain registrar (this is the first time I do this, I suspect the problem might lie here ?)

Would you set the CNAME records to DNS only? Here’s the details info provided by squarespace for troubleshooting:

Thanks @neiljay , I’ve changed my CNAME records to DNS only instead of proxied.

Do you know if enabling Multi-signer DNSSEC would make a difference ?

I notice that my root domain is working, but not the www

Hi there,

I’ve followed the steps in the Squarespace help center article you linked - reviewed my nameservers and changed the CNAME to DNS only.

The problem persists on my www subdomain, while my root domain resolves fine.

I’ve set up a 301 redirect from my www to my root domain in the meantime.
