What is the error message?

There is an unknown connection issue between Cloudflare and the origin web server. As a result, the web page can not be displayed.

What is the issue or error you’re encountering

Hi all! I made a mistake on our website. I accidentally deleted a user who was responsible for about 65% of the work on it. When I deleted the user, all of their content, including plugins, code, and other parts of the website, were removed. Now, parts of the site are broken. I don’t have access to the client’s backend—hosting and domain provider. Unfortunately, they also can’t give access because the person handling all of that was the user I deleted, and now that person can’t be contacted.

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I did have a backup of the website using Updraft, but when I tried to restore it, it failed. Now, I can’t access the WordPress login page, it’s 502 though the website is still live. What would be the best solution for this? Please help.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

N/A

That must suck. Unfortunately, you’re going to need the hosting provider’s assistance (or at the very least access to the hosting panel) to fix this.

The screenshot you provided shows WPEngine. So the “origin server” is WPEngine, and they also use Cloudflare themselves. So, whatever the issue is, it must be fixed on their end.
