The error is produced from your web server. If it were to be from CF, then there would be the mention of ‘Cloudflare’ as well. You need to investigate with your host. See more information here:

This error comes from your host.
In other to prove this just temporarily disable cloudflare proxy.

Thanks so much neiljay yeah thats the prob i got no idea where I’m hosting this one :), DNS just points at Cloudflare so cant find out that way :frowning:

thanks russ14, yeah cant work out where to find out where its hosted, since can only see the Cloudflare name servers

If you are able to log into the account you could run a whois on your origin IPs to see who the host is.

thanks dmartin1, which/what account do you mean the domain? the registrars or other?

the only nameservers i can see at the registrars are the Cloudflare ones

The Cloudflare account for the domain.

Do you remember setting one up?

If you do and your having trouble logging in, you can try to recover the email address using the form below:
https://dash.cloudflare.com/forgot-email

If you have not set up a Cloudflare account and do not want to use Cloudflare you can just remove our nameservers at the registrar and we will not have any effect on the domain then.

yes i have a free Cloudflare account and i want to keep using it ideally for the SSL

i can only seme to see the Cloudflare NS in there though

where do i find the origin ips?

thanks
dan

  1. Log in to the Cloudflare dashboard and select the account and domain.
  2. Go to DNS > Records.

The origin IP is provided by your host which you will find in your hosting control panel

@dan6 I am getting a 522 that is from your origin webserver.

Contact your hosting provider

, do this

That is located here on the first A record line → https://dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/:zone/dns

Your cloudflare account

Do a whois ip on your orgin IP address here, IP WHOIS Lookup.

Doing that I see the host is webfusion, does that sound familiar?

Thanks so much cloonan - yes that’s 123Reg where I registered the domain name but they don’t host any webpages i just fwd the nameserver to cloudfares tara and eric servers which worked fine for a few months then this started happening
