502 Errors when enabling Cloudflare proxy on website

What is the issue you’re encountering

With proxy off, site works fine. Proxy on, site wont’ load

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

Followed CF article for 502 & 504’s

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

1. turn on proxy
2. open website in a new incognito window.
3. observe either the site or an error
4. repeat 2 and 3, also using a non incognito window. observer different results, most you cannot get out of the error case.

We cannot find the issue in logs on CF either. Maybe I am not looking at it proper?
Reading document on using Cloudflare diag tools now. Which may take me some time. But any guidance be great.
I am not the web developer. but I do have access to the host & I help manage CF.

I think I figure it out. Must be IP being blocked on some firewall rule.
Can’t delete my post so oh well. Leaving it.
