The 502/504 errors are caused by a problem connecting to an upstream server - meaning your server is trying to initiate a process and this fails to work as expected or times out. Thank you, so I have domain - hosting - cloudflare. You are saying that this 502 is coming from the hosting and not the cloudflare (dns records)?
Most likely, particularly if it’s a “pretty” (in color) error page as opposed to this not as nice page we present if it’s a cf error
I’d start with your origin (hosting) server logs and see if your host can help to identify the errors. Problem with these errors is that any device along the way can throw the error, they are always difficult to troubleshoot.
