502 Bad Gateway (Cloudflare) when using WordPress REST API

I have a WordPress installation on my server and since the beginning of the month (something like october 9th) I get a 502 Bad Gateway error when I try to add some content to my website using the REST API.

It used to work like charm during the two or three previous months and I’ve tried to use it even with all the plugins disabled.

Does anyone encountered the same kind of issue and managed to fix it?

Thanks a lot!

By the way, the kind of 502 that is displayed:

The error might be originating from Cloudflare’s communication with your origin server.

  1. Check the Cloudflare dashboard for any outage or issues reported.
  2. Cloudflare usually provides a brief description or code with their 502 error page.
  3. Ensure your origin server is running and accepting connections. A 502 error can occur if Cloudflare can’t communicate with your server.
  4. Check your server’s error logs. They can provide more specific details about why the server might not be responding. Look in /var/log/nginx/error.log
