500s Error Page Issue

#1

I’ve built a 500s offline page however whenever i use the ::ALWAYS_ONLINE_NO_COPY_BOX:: i would like to hide the content and display it with a button - I’ve tried the following.

<button onclick="document.getElementById('reason').setAttribute('display','block')">EXPAND THIS</button>
<div id="reason" style="display:hidden;">::ALWAYS_ONLINE_NO_COPY_BOX::</div>

However it’s just not hiding on page load, and being forced to use the ugly text is not nice, that means i would have to alter this in javascript… which is a level deeper than i thought needed.

UPDATE
FORCED TO USED CLOUDFLARES “THIS WEBSITE IS OFFLINE” content, WHAT IN THE WORLD? I thought it was up to us WHAT WE PUT ON OUR ERROR PAGES.

HTML ONLY WITH CF FORCED “This website is offline” MESSAGE - This isn’t right!

I don’t think display: hidden; exists, try display: none;

Does not work? It’s like it’s being forced on the page after the document has loaded regardless of style?
