404 in some instance with no www

Hello I am new here an not technical but I am having issues as I discovered that my webpage does not show on some devices or browsers without the www or https and this was discovered using click funnels who’s support told me that I would have to move my domain to Cloudflare

My setup is as follows

dotearth is my domain register
ipower is my domain hosting and my email domain
my web page is hosted else where with a pointer

I don’t know what he means by move to cloudflare and is there not a way to make the stuff work any other way as I read this on google

  • If your domain provider lets you redirect your naked domain to the subdomain address (e.g. make example.com redirect to www.example.com) then configure that
  • Alternatively add an A record of @ (or your naked domain)

Thank You

If you’re not using Cloudflare currently, then you can work with your domain hosting provider to configure redirect of your naked domain to the correct subdomain, unless you want to onboard on Cloudflare.

If your domain is on Cloudflare, then take a look at Naked domain problems when pointing to third-party host for suggested next steps. Page rule to redirect all URLs to root domain - #4 by sjr is a good guide to follow on how to configure a redirect here.

It sounds like you’re encountering issues with domain configuration and DNS settings. Let’s break down the situation and what you can do:

Domain Registration

Domain Hosting and Email

Website Hosting

Here’s what you can do to resolve the issue without necessarily moving your domain to Cloudflare:

Redirecting from Naked Domain to WWW

Adding an A Record for the Naked Domain

Thank you it seems that dotearth the register for the domain name does not give me access to the www just the domain name without

In a DNS search it show the domain name owner is Newfold Digital Inc

and the www version says owner cloudflare

creating a www with my hosting provider failed
