404 error in Facebook Sharing debugger

What is the name of the domain?

What is the error number?

404

What is the error message?

URL returned a bad HTTP response code.

What is the issue you’re encountering

Facebook sharing debugger return a 404 code

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

I have added a WAF rule to skip for AS number 32934 or 63293.
I have applied the rule and when I try to scrape again the url, I still get a 404 error for page Projet Domiciliaire Albatros à St-Eustache

Was the site working with SSL prior to adding it to Cloudflare?

Yes

What is the current SSL/TLS setting?

Flexible

Screenshot of the error

Working fine from me end. Could you confirm it’s okay now?

404 should come from the origin host. WAF rule shouldn’t impact and cause an 404 error as well.

Should be fixed.

Hi Fritex!

Thanks for your help.

The problem is with this page : Projet Domiciliaire Albatros à St-Eustache

For the home page, I don’t get an error on the Facebook sharing debug.

This is is strange. Could be with the source code of the page Projet Domiciliaire Albatros à St-Eustache ?

I get 404 error returned:

Seems like one URL is being redirected and issue with it:

Double-check your SEO plugin for Facebook OpenGraph and clear the cache.

Possibly if you changed your title or URL structure, the permalink for the URL which is still being used as og:url returns 404.

I am afraid, unfortunately yes.

Setup a redirect on your web host, either via WordPress or via htaccess file.
Or, you could achieve this with Redirect Rule at Cloudflare dashboard as well.
