What is the name of the domain?
What is the error number?
403
What is the error message?
403 Forbidden
What is the issue you’re encountering
403 Forbidden error for my ip only after a xenu crawl
What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?
Hello,
More than 30 hours ago (at the time I sent this ticket), I launched a crawl of my site via xenu from my computer. This crawl was certainly too aggressive and since then I can no longer access the site, I have a blank page with error 403 Forbidden.
I’m pretty sure that this error is linked to cloudflare and that it’s only the ip of the connection I used to make my xenu crawl that’s blocked by cloudflare because I can access the site without any problem:
- if I point my host directly to the server, i.e. without going through cloudflare
- if I access the site via another connection
- if I disable the cloudflare proxy
And since it’s just me and visitors can access the site without any problems, it’s not a serious problem. It’s still a handicap for my site management, however.
Following this incident, I authorized my ipv4 and ipv6 in the cloudflare WAF settings, then I cleared the cache, but I still have the 403. I’ve done a lot of searching and I don’t know what else I can do.
I thought the problem would solve itself, but it’s been over 30 hours now and I don’t know what else to do.
It would be a pity if I had to disable cloudflare just for this reason that only concerns me
Do you know if the problem will solve itself and how long it will take?
Is there anything I can do to speed up the resolution?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Was the site working with SSL prior to adding it to Cloudflare?
Yes
What is the current SSL/TLS setting?
Flexible
What are the steps to reproduce the issue?
