4 NS records not propagating after more than 48 hours

over 48 hours ago we have added 4 new NS records for a subdomain and we still cannot see all of them on DNS Checker - DNS Propagation Check & DNS Lookup. Just about 5-6 at a time. And they keep changing.
We have used the same NS records for another subdomain a couple of months ago and everything has been working fine.

I tried to:

  • remove them and add again
  • change the TTL from auto to 1h and back to auto after about 6 hours
  • they are not proxied (DNS only, grey cloud)

Any ideas about what might be causing this delay?

Thanks for help,

What is the subdomain you are trying to assign the NS records to?

What do you mean by this?

The subdomain is help.###.com

sdayman - they go on and off again. Sometimes I can see 4-5 green, sometimes just 1-2. And even points that were green before turn red again.

And the two Cloudflare name servers at the bottom of your DNS page are Coraline and Pranab?

I’d say to leave those NS records there for a bit and see if DNSChecker.org starts showing more green.

Meanwhile, open a ticket via email (support AT cloudflare DOT com) and post the ticket # here.

It shouldn’t take much to get someone from Support to do a quick rebuild of that zone’s DNS.

Thank you sdayman. The ticket number is 2268484.
