2nd time: Cloudflare is registrar and hasn’t updated NS records

My final domain is in the same stuck pattern as the ones from this thread:

I have opened a ticket pointing to the OLD support ticket #2205290 that shows that it’s Cloudflare to fix, but the kind support folks must be bots because they literally are doing the same thing that we had to go through the last time. This is something that has to be done here. Domain this time to “update” NS from my now non-existant Dreamhost account is steelpennyfarms.com (shows pending on my thing like the others did).

I read through the thread last time and understand why you mentioned MoreHelp straight away, but it’s not supposed to be how it works and probably won’t help in this situation. It alerts a list of people to day that you’re not receiving attention here, which isn’t true and it will make quite a lot of people (usually, including me) ignore your thread if you use it when it’s not required. We can look at it and will escalate it to the right people if needed far easier than mentioning that group will.

On that domain, the registrar still shows as Tucows and it doesn’t show as pending a transfer in whois. Do you still have control of it there as it doesn’t seem to be with Cloudflare yet.

DOH! ok, I will not do that in the future - I am thinking they (support) told me to do that last time after a day or two. Argh sorry!

Here is what I see, but I will go to Google (tucows) and see if that can be fixed:

(I do not see TUCOWs still, I see Dreamhost which is indeed where I had it pointing for some years now).

Yes, it’s supposed to be a way to stop issues falling through the cracks if they get missed here.

I see Dreamhost nameservers, but the registrar still shows as Tucows and there isn’t a pendingTransfer status or similar.

You can edit that out, but the ping already went out as soon as you saved that message. But go ahead and remove it so others don’t get the same idea.

Hey @sdayman good to see you again! removed it. I’m hoping that me forcing it on the TUCOWS side will get it to update the NS already being over here.

I wouldn’t expect to see one with that clientTransferProhibited tag.
