Build time increased by 460% on the 19th December

What steps have you taken to resolve the issue?

My site eventually builds, it just takes a lot longer now for some reason.

Just commit a change, and it takes over 7 minutes for 11ty 3.0.0 to build.

Something happened to my CF Pages environment between 12:33AM December 19, 2024 and 12:19PM December 19, 2024 (UK time) as my build time increased from 1 minute 30 seconds to 7 minutes 22 seconds. I have GitHub rebuild my website every 12 hours and during this time I made no code changes, but something in the Cloudflare Pages environment must have changed as the build time jumped up 460%. No error messaged are seen in the logs, so I’m a little stumped as to what I can do toy fix it! Any help would be much appreciated!

Some recent issues were there with GitHub Authorization key with Cloudflare auth as far as I remember, wonder if that had impacted your environment as well, or that’s something else

Sounds like an interesting theory

Although there doesn’t seem to be any issue checking out the code from GH. It just pauses for around 6 minutes once all pages are built and then eventually moves on to “Deploying to Cloudflare’s global network”. But maybe there’s some sort of webhook involving GitHub behind the scenes that is failing?? (complete guess, but the only explanation I can think of).
