1.1.1.1 working with high latency in Argentina

Hello, since a few hours ago I’m experiencing some connection problems with this DNS server using my ISP Claro Argentina (AS 11664), in Buenos Aires. It doesn’t connect to the datacenter in my city and it goes through the Seabone network to Sao Paolo, and it gives 37-40ms of ping, while it used to take 6ms in a normal day. Can someone help me with this problem? Thanks.

Tracing route to one.one.one.one [1.1.1.1]
over a maximum of 30 hops:

1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 10.0.0.1
2 4 ms 3 ms 3 ms 186.182.170.3
3 8 ms 6 ms 6 ms 10.2.201.34
4 5 ms 5 ms 5 ms 10.2.201.229
5 5 ms 7 ms 6 ms 10.2.186.121
6 11 ms 7 ms 6 ms be4-2-cf223-br-04-bsas.claro.com.ar [131.100.186.102]
7 6 ms 6 ms 6 ms 185.70.203.6
8 33 ms 33 ms 32 ms 195.22.219.215
9 34 ms 32 ms 34 ms 149.3.181.121
10 33 ms 34 ms 34 ms one.one.one.one [1.1.1.1]

Trace complete.

These datacenter questions sure keep me on my geographical toes.

Seeing how GRU is Sao Paolo, that’s not way far away from you, so I suspect it’s just a routing congestion issue. If it doesn’t clear up, contact support.

Ok, Thanks. It doesn’t bother me but I was curious to know if something was going on.
