Hello, AFAIK … CF have server at indonesia, but why when i install the 1.1.1.1 installer for windows, it getting more lagging and increase the ping from under 30 to Indonesian server and under 10 to google … become xxxms
Using any VPN (such as WARP+) will increase your latency considerably. Using 1.1.1.1 as a DNS however, should have no effect on your network speed or latency. I’d recommend reading https://www.cloudflare.com/en-au/learning/dns/what-is-1.1.1.1/ to learn what 1.1.1.1 is actually doing.
If you don’t want to use the WARP VPN, you don’t need the installed application to use the benefits on 1.1.1.1. You can uninstall the 1.1.1.1 app, and simply go into your network settings (Win + I) and change your DNS servers to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 (if you’re on Windows 8.1 or lower, this will be in Network Adapters)

i thought warp is more like just DNSJUMPER(windows) or DOH only
and if it’s vpn. why the connection not use near-by server like SG (from my country ID) or MY ?
The client uses the closest Cloudflare datacenter. If you aren’t connected to the closest one (by network latency, not by geography), it’s probably because that datacenter doesn’t host WARP services on it, or it’s not operational at the moment (https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/)
