1.1.1.1 not resolving - unlike all other DNS

It’s the same thing, it just has 8.8.8.8 and the other 3 IPs.

You’re right, it does now! :astonished:

Looks like the DS record is gone.

It’s resolving on my local 1.1.1.1 as well.

.com’s TTL for DS records is 86,400 seconds, so it won’t work everywhere until tomorrow, but it’s clearing up. :slightly_smiling_face:

Yep they were pretty quick to solve this and replied to the ticket accordingly.

About the Google DNS situation, I have noticed before they must have servers with different settings bc as I told u it worked before as is, but I do confirm also that multiple queries would show different results (sometimes would resolve, sometimes wouldn’t), so I will assume the validation is not enforced on all their servers, but anyway, Google DNS is not something I opt for, I am happy with OpenDNS and maybe somewhere in the future I will use Cloudflare’s.

About NameCheap amazing support service yet again, very quick to respond, I do recommend!

I believe 8.8.8.8 validates as well, and it’s not something newly introduced in there.
